In the November 23 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority they are reporting a total of 69 new confirmed cases of the virus in the province.

Of those 69 new cases there are 2 in the Far North West zone, 1 in the Far North East zone, 1 in the North West zone, 7 in the North Central zone, 13 in the Saskatoon zone, 1 in the Central West zone, 13 in the Central East zone, 6 in the Regina zone, 2 in the South Central zone, and 13 in the South East zone.

There are 10 new cases with pending residence information.

Twelve cases with pending residence information have been reassigned as follows - 5 to the Far North East zone, 2 to the North West zone, 2 to the Central West zone, 1 to the South Central zone, and 2 to the South East zone. 

One duplicate case with pending residence information has been removed from the total case counts.

Less than one-third (29.0%) of new cases are in the 11 years and younger age category.

Less than one-third (30.6%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (12 years and older) were fully vaccinated.

The seven-day average of new COVID-19 cases is 103 (8.6 new cases per 100,000 population).

That brings the provincial total number of cases to 80,481, of which 1,014 are considered active.

There are 31 active cases in the South West zone - 5 in South West subzone 1, and 26 in South West subzone 2.

There were 2 new deaths reported today, bringing that provincial total to 914.

There were 50 recoveries reported, 1 of them in the South West zone, bringing the provincial total number of recoveries to 78,553.

There are 149 people in the hospital - 115 receiving inpatient care, and 34 in intensive care.

Of those 149 patients, 102 (68.5%) were not fully vaccinated.

There are now 7 Saskatchewan residents receiving out of the province care.

To date, 1,265,762 COVID-19 tests have been processed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday, there were 1,435 COVID-19 tests processed in the province.

Of the 15,727 variants of concern cases identified by whole genome sequencing in the province, 7,123 are Alpha (B.1.1.7), 10 are Beta (B.1.351), 484 are Gamma (P.1), and 8,110 are Delta (B.1.617.2).

There were 479 COVID-19 vaccinations administered yesterday in Saskatchewan, 14 of those in the South West zone.

That brings the provincial total number of vaccinations given to 1,713,156.

There are now 828,676 Saskatchewan residents who are fully vaccinated.
