It may look and taste good, but packaged snacks are dangerous to your child's health.

     Obesity and being overweight can affect your child's health, including blood pressure, high cholesterol, breathing problems, and even Type 2 Diabetes.

     Barb Wright is a Public Health Nutritionist and says physical activity can play a big part in keeping your kids healthy.  She adds they should take part in family walks and helping with fall activities, such as raking.

     Packing lunches with your kids to make sure they have a healthy and balanced meal in their lunch will cut down on junk food and packaged foods.
