Devon Oman - Drop ZONE

Local hero Devon Oman rappelled down twenty-two storeys to raise money for a great cause in Saskatoon on Monday.

Oman took part in an Easter Seals Drop Zone Fundraiser for Easter Seals Saskatchewan which supports Camp Easter Seals, Summer Fun and Adaptive Technology. The programs offered by the camp is greatly beneficial to hundreds of youth with disabilities.

"On Monday I went up to Saskatoon to rappel down a twenty-two storey building dressed up as Wolverine, and I raised over $1700 for Camp Easter Seals," said Oman. "It's for Camp Easter Seal and sending kids with disabilities to camp. There was about 40 other participants being apart of it and they were all dressed up as superheroes, and I believe they raised over $148,000 in Saskatoon."

Situated at Manitou Beach near Watrous, Camp Easter Seals is the only camp facility that is completely wheelchair accessible in Saskatchewan.
