Just like last year, there will be plenty of road construction this year in Saskatchewan.

It's the law in Saskatchewan to slow down to 60 kilometres per hour in construction zones while passing highway workers, flag persons, and equipment.

Communications Manager for the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure, Kristen Leatherdale says the fines for speeding past construction workers are severe.  They start from $140, depending on how fast you are going.

There were 336 collisions in the Orange Zone between 2003 and 2007, resulting in 126 injuries and 2 deaths.
