Another southwest Saskatchewan medical facility has been placed under outbreak status.    The Palliser Care Centre in Swift Current and the Herbert Integrated Health Facility are under visitation restrictions, following the discovery of the Noro-virus.

Director of Public Health, Trent Regier says the restrictions are in place to prevent further spread of illness.

Regier adds samples from the Palliser have been sent for testing to confirm the presence of the virus.

Visitors to other facilities around the region are reminded to wash their hands prior to stopping in.
