The Western Hockey League continues to hand out suspensions and financial penalties from last Saturday's game between the Swift Current Broncos and the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Swift Current was assessed two $1,000 fines on Tuesday by the league. One for "inadequate security" and another for "actions of coach and players".

Brandon was given one $1,000 fine on the same day for "actions of coach and players".

Tuesday's flurry of penalties also saw Broncos forward Caleb Wyrostok receive a five-game suspension for "game misconduct and repeat offender".

Today, the league assessed Brandon's equipment manager Scott Hlady a two-game suspension for his actions during the March 9 game.

The two teams combined for 88 penalty minutes after the game was over.
