UPDATED 5:00 p.m.

The outage running from Simmie to the Saskatchewan Landing and from Hazlet to just west of Swift Current has been fixed.

And part of the first outage, east and west of Shaunavon has been restored including Cadillac and Admiral. 

SaskPower estimates that the remaining outages will be fixed by 6:30 p.m.

Swift Current Online will have a story tomorrow about the outages.

A pair of separate power outages are plaguing southwestern Saskatchewan this afternoon.

The first outage, affecting 440 customers, occurred at 12:52 p.m. and spans from Murraydale to east of Ponteix and from Lac Pelleier to just north of Val Marie. 

SaskPower crews were dispatched just before 1 p.m. to investigate the cause and repair time for the outage. As of 2:25 p.m. there was no estimated time of repair.

The second outage, affecting 249 customers, runs from Simmie to the Saskatchewan Landing and from Hazlet to just west of Swift Current.

This outage happened around 1:49 p.m. with crews being sent to investigate the cause around 2 p.m. There is also no estimated time of repair as of 2:25 p.m.

"They're unrelated [outages]," a SaskPower spokesperson said.
