A number of farm organizations across the prairies have joined together to create the Prairie Producer Coalition.  The group has released a list of questions and background information for producers to consider during the ongoing debate about the future of the Canadian Wheat Board’s single desk.  The coalition believes it is essential for farmers to fully inform themselves about the broader implications of the loss of the single desk.  The questions and information is available through a number of farm organizations in Saskatchewan   APAS, the NFU and SARM.  The coalition believes that while individual farmers determine what’s best for their farm, all farmers together must decide the future of the agricultural industry.
