The Saskatchewan Health Authority is reporting 111 new COVID-19 cases in their daily COVID-19 update.

The break down of the cases has four in the South West, five in South Central, seven in South East, seven in Central East, 25 in Regina, 24 in Saskatoon, eight in North Central, seven in North West, six in Far North East, eight in North Central, and five in Far North West.

This brings the provincial total number of cases to 4,437, with 1,459 of the cases considered active.

In the southwest region, there are now 17 active cases.

There were 15 more recoveries reported today, bringing the provincial total to 2,949.

Forty-nine people are in hospital, 36 of which are receiving inpatient care; one in the Far North West, one in the North West, five in North Central, three in the North East, 20 in Saskatoon, three in Regina, one in the South West and two in the South East. 

There are 13 people are in intensive care; one in the North West, two in North Central, seven in Saskatoon, two in Central East and one in Regina.

The total number of COVID deaths remains at 29.

To date, there have been 289,366 COVID-19 tests done in the province.

Yesterday, 2,145 COVID-19 tests were performed in Saskatchewan.
