Southwest Saskatchewan has seen more than its fair share of rain in the past 2 weeks.

In fact, Bob Cormier, Meteorologist for Environment Canada says Swift Current is almost nearing the normal amount of rain fall for the month of June.

He says that we usually reach around 18mm of rain during this month, some area's already reporting amounts near or over that level.

Cormier adds the Southwest should have a slight break from the rain over the weekend, but showers will return mid next week.
