It was yet another record-setting year for Saskatchewan.

This time, the province has set the record for total international exports.  Through the first 10 months of 2008, our exports totalled $27 billion.  That's $7 billion more than the total for all of 2007.

Enterprise and Innovation Minister Lyle Stewart says it has been a phenomenal year for the province.  For October alone, exports are up $3.3 billion or 91% over the same month last year.

Stewart adds that the exceptional numbers are based on strong export figures in agriculture, oil and gas, mining, and manufacturing.
