The Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation announced last night they've accepted the resignation of their executive director.

Jim Dekowny stepped down on March 29 from his position and his resignation was accepted by the board.

"In light of this, we've been reviewing certain aspects of our internal processes," Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation Board Chair Helen Arnold said. "We're committed to maintaining the highest standards of transparency, integrity, and ethical conduct within our foundation. We take all matters that affect our organization seriously."

Swift Current Online is trying to determine what that means. When asked if the comments are in relation to Dekowny's departure, Arnold didn't elaborate much.

"That's a good question," she said. "I would just say that I can't really offer any additional comments until completion of the review."

Swift Current Online reached out to Dekowny for comment and he did not respond to the request.

"We will be advertising the role probably within the next week or two and finding a new executive director," she said.
