A critical drinking water alert has been issued for the RM of Sask. Landing.

Residents located within the RM are required to boil any water before consumption or use in cooking.

In order for the water to be safe, it must be brought to a boil for a least a minute if not longer before use. Not only for drinking and cooking, but it also applies to things like brushing teeth, watering vegetables, and other secondary contacts.

It applies to public water as well as residential. Drinking fountains, public taps, and other shared sources fall under this notice.

This mandate is in effect immediately and will last until further notice. Using an alternative water source, like bottled water, is recommended. If you or someone you know experience flu-like symptoms, seek medical attention immediately.

Swift Current Online will provide updates that emerge.
