If there has been a good reminder that winter is on the way, the snowfall we received this week was it.

The RM of Swift Current is getting for another busy season of snow removal, according to Reeve Bob Neufeld.

Neufeld feels they've learned lessons from the heavy snow that we experienced last year, and now feels they are more prepared for the upcoming months.

Among the improvements that are being implemented this year is the retention of three full time operators to help clear roadways throughout the winter.
