It's Dino Days in Eastend this weekend!

It all kicks off on Friday and Angie Jones from the organizing committee explains the weekend.

"We're going to start with our Home Run Derby at six o'clock, and it's at the Ball Diamond. Anybody can walk up and enter on the spot. It's a lot of fun. And then, that evening at the Ball Diamonds around 10-10:30 when it's dark there are fireworks. And everybody's invited, and there's no charge for either of those events. Then, we have Saturday, which kicks off with the Pancake Breakfast at the Tea Room in the morning, and a Parade at 10:30. And after the Parade is a Demolition Derby at the old motorbike hills which is just north east of town. And so that starts at noon. And after that is the Street Dance with the band "Wild Fire" and that starts at eight."

More fun on Sunday with the Light Horse Show at the Rodeo Grounds from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.

And all day in the town square there will be a Trade Show, a BBQ competition, Axe Throwing, Bouncy castles and more.

The Interdenominational Church Service goes Sunday morning at 11.

Anyone with questions, or wanting to sign up for any of the events can go to eastenddinodys@gmail.com
