Saskatchewan artist Tenille Arts is making history.

Her hit single "Somebody Like That" has climbed it's way to the U.S. Charts reaching #1

The single was co-written by Arts alongside Allison Cruz and Alex Kline. This makes it the the first song in country music history that was written, performed and produced by all females to hit #1.

Kline makes history as well, as the sole producer of the song, she is the first solo female producer to have a #1 single at country radio.

Lastly, "Somebody Like That" took 70 weeks to get to the top of the chart, making it the longest chart run for a female artist in the history of Mediabase/Country Aircheck.

Arts said about the trio on Twitter.

"“We started as collaborators, became friends, and now they’re nothing less than family. There are no other people I feel as comfortable with in the creative process and to get to share this moment with them is a truly the greatest gift of all.”
