There was no change in the province’s active COVID-19 case total, as announced by the Sask Health Authority Saturday afternoon.

The SHA’s daily update noted one new case and one new recovery from the virus, keeping Saskatchewan’s active case total at 23.

Saturday’s new case is in the Far North region.

There have now been 664 reported cases and 628 recoveries province-wide.

Meanwhile, the South region is still home to two active cases.

As well, an additional person is in hospital. One resident remains in the ICU in Saskatoon, and now one person is receiving inpatient care in the North.

A total of 55,122 tests for COVID-19 have been performed with the addition of 614 since yesterday.
