Assistance on the way for children with diabetes.

     The provincial government helping ease the financial burden for children dealing with diabetes, through an announcement made yesterday.

      Sask Health will now provide insulin pumps, as well as insulin supplies to children under the age of 17 who meet qualifications.

     The funding will take affect on July 1st, 2007.

     The move is expected to cost the province around $425 thousand here in the first year.
