It's a special day in Saskatchewan today.

The entire province is honouring Roughriders Legend Don Narcisse today, with the government proclaiming "Don Narcisse Day".

He will be inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Saskatoon on Saturday, and will be honoured at tonight's Rider game against BC at Mosaic Stadium.

Narcisse is excited about being inducted in Saskatchewan. He says, "Never in my wildest dreams I would ever thought that I would be getting inducted into the CFL Hall of Fame. This is so good, I feel so good, but you know this is good for the province of Saskatchewan because you know I played out here for 13 years, you know they are the ones that helped me out and kept me going for 13 years. It just goes to show hard work does pay off."

Along with setting records on the field, he also started the Catch for KidSport Program that has raised over $700,000 since 1998.
