A  lot of interest in yesterdays anthrax information session in  Saskatoon .  Dr Chris Clark is with the Western College Of Veterinary Medicine.  Anthrax is an environmental disease that can act quickly in livestock.   He says a producer can go out and check his herd in the morning and everything is fine then check them again in the afternoon and have a dead animal.   Clark says it’s a good idea for producers in areas of concern to vaccinate for anthrax.   So far over 273 animals have died from the disease in Saskatchewan this year.
