The Swift Current Curling Club announced Tuesday morning that they had to put their Annual General Meeting on hold until further notice during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The move came as a result of what the Board of Directors noted as prioritizing the safety and well-being of the club members and their families.
The Curling Club was officially shut down for the remainder of the season on March 16 because of the outbreak.
In a release on their Facebook and Twitter pages, the Swift Current Curling Club said they will continue to monitor the situation.
"Once we feel we can safely do so, we'll schedule a new date... Please take care of yourselves, your families, and your neighbours," the release stated.
Updates will be provided as they arise.
