An up-and-down day for Robyn Silvernagle and her team from the Twin Rivers Curling Club in North Battleford on Thursday has them in the B-Event at the Viterra Scotties Provincial Women's Curling Championship in Estevan.

Team Silvernagle, with Swift Current's Kelly Schafer playing third, started their morning game with Skyler Ackerman and her rink from the Sutherland in Saskatoon with a three-ender in the very first end, and pulled away with deuces in the sixth and eighth ends in a 9-4 win to move on to the A semi-final against Nancy Martin and her team from Martensville. Martin started that game by scoring a single on a missed blank attempt in the first end but recovered with a steal of two in the second and a steal of three more in the third to jump out to a 6-0 lead. After forcing Silvernagle to a single in the fourth, Martin gave up a steal of one in the fifth before picking up a three-ender in the sixth to wrap up a 9-2 win.

Silvernagle will face Amber Holland and her rink from the Kronau Curling Club in the B-Event this morning. Team Holland lost 10-3 to Sherry Anderson and defeated Jessica Mitchell 8-3 in their games on Thursday.

Anderson and Martin will meet in the A Final this afternoon with the winner earning the number one seed in Saturday night's Page Playoffs. The B Final for the number two seed will be on Saturday morning and the two C qualifiers will be on Saturday afternoon with the winners playing in the 3 vs. 4 game.

The semi-final and final will be on Sunday with the winning team representing Saskatchewan at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kamloops next month.
