A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued by Environment Canada for Swift Current and surrounding areas, including the communities of Cabri, Pennant, Success, Wymark and Antelope Lake, and the rural municipalities of Swift Current, Riverside and Webb.
At 9:38pm, Environment Canada meteorologists were tracking a severe thunderstorm that was capable of producing stromng wind gusts, up to nickel size hail, and heavy rainfall. The storm was located southeast of Roseray, near Cabri and Hazlet, and was moving to the southeast.
