The decrease in active COVID-19 cases continued on Saturday in Saskatchewan.

After dropping from 106 to 99 active cases on Friday, the Sask Health Authority announced a double-digit drop of 11, putting the current active case total at 88. It's the lowest number of active cases in the province since Saskatchewan had the same number on April 30.

The Saturday update from the SHA announced three new cases and 14 recoveries.

Two of the new cases are in the Saskatoon region and one is in the Far North region.

Meanwhile on the recovery side, both the Central and Regina regions lost their lone active cases, and currently sit at 0.

There have now been 535 recoveries overall and 630 total reported cases.

Six residents are in hospital as well. Three are in the ICU in Saskatoon, with three receiving inpatient care - one apiece in Saskatoon, Regina, and the North).
