Three Shaunavon churches are banding together to show their appreciation for all oilfield, construction and out of town workers in the area.

"It's called the Oilman's Supper. It's for oil and gas industry people in the ares who are away from home but working in our area. It's just an oppurtunity for them to have a home style meal," said Lori Gronhovd, one of the organizers.

Workers are invited to come as you are or to come for take out on your way to work this Sunday December 1st from five until eight p.m. To the Shaunavon Legion Hall.

Complimentary tickets can be picked up at any hotel or motel in Shaunavon or from Ranchhouse Meat Company. The tickets are simply to gauge numbers attending and you don't have to have one to be served.

The Oilman's Supper is sponsored by Salem Lutheran Church, The Shaunavon Alliance Church and New Life Victory Church.
