A 42-year-old man facing drug and breach charges has been sentenced in Swift Current Provincial Court.

Kevin Wayne McLellan from Shaunavon had previously entered guilty pleas to two trafficking cannabis marijuana charges, and three breach charges.

He was charged with trafficking in connection with the southern Saskatchewan drug busts that took place last summer, when he sold a total of $180 worth of marijuana to undercover officers.

The Judge sentenced him to 5 months and 14 days in jail, with one year of probation to follow.  He must also provide a DNA sample, and he is not allowed to possess any firearms.
