The Cypress Health Region will be holding the official Grand Opening of Southwest Saskatchewan's first Collaborative Emergency Centre here in Shaunavon today.
The event will be held at the Long Term Care Chapel at the Shaunavon Hospital and Care Centre this afternoon at 2:00pm. In attendance will be the Honourable Randy Weekes, Minister Resposible for Rural and Remote Health, Greg Dunn, Director of EMS and Home Care for the Cypress Health Region, and Beth Vachon, CEO of the Health Region. Also, Nancy Phillips, Patient Representative, and Shaunavon Mayor Sharon Dickie.
Refreshments will be served.
The CEC is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and offers extended hours of primary health care and around the clock emergency services.
