His team is harvesting this years trial plots with a 14 foot Shellbourne Reynolds stripper header. Stumborg says the header substantially improved the quality and amount of straw harvested giving farmers more money per acre. Stumborg says the harvest option trial is being done through Wheatland Conservation in Swift Current as well as East Central Research in the Redvers area.
