UPDATE: Team Silvernagle defeated Anderson 12-7 in the semi-final and will face Martin in the championship final this afternoon at 3:00pm.

Original story follows:

With 12 provincial championships between the two teams, Robyn Silvernagle and her rink from the Twin Rivers Curling Club in North Battleford will face the Nutana Curling Club's Sherry Anderson in the semi-final at the Viterra Scotties Provincial Women's Curling Championship in Estevan this morning, with the winner facing Nancy Martin, who's looking for her first championship as a skip.

Silvernagle, with Swift Current's Kelly Schafer playing third, used a three-ender in the fourth end and a four-ender in the seventh to pick up an 8-2 win over Anderson in the B Final on Saturday morning to move on to the 1 vs. 2 game against Martin in the evening.

After falling behind 3-0 after two ends, Silvernagle scored four in the third to take the lead with Martin responding with three in the fourth end. Silvernagle scored two in the fifth to tie the game 6-6 at the break. After trading singles and a blank in the next three ends, Martin picked up two in the ninth end to put her up 9-7 coming home. Silvernagle missed a difficult raise attempt on her final stone in the tenth end to make the final 9-8 for Martin, who advanced directly to the final with the win.

Silvernagle, a two-time provincial champion, will face Anderson again in this morning's semi-final. The 10-time provincial Scotties champion defeated defending champion Penny Barker 7-5 in the C Qualifier and Skyler Ackerman 8-7 in an extra end in the 3 vs. 4 game.

The semi-final will be at 10:00am this morning with the winner facing Martin in the final this afternoon at 3:00pm from Affinity Place in Estevan. Both games will be streamed live on CURLSASK's YouTube channel and broadcast on SaskTel MaxTV channels 49 & 349.

The champions will represent Saskatchewan at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kamloops, BC from February 17-26.
