Swift Current has no shortage of local talent, and with Christmas fast approaching folks in the area have yet another chance to stock up on handmade gifts.

The Museum education and program coordinator, Corla Rokochy, said roughly ten vendors are coming out for their Holiday Market tomorrow.

“The ones that we've chosen are very unique to this area and they may be a vendor that you wouldn't see at other events,” she said. “Everything is handmade and unique and local.

Opening up at 10 a.m. at wrapping up at 5 p.m., folks are welcome to attend the market and take a walk through the exhibits and the gift shop as well.

While this is the first Holiday Market they’ve held, Rokochy said they have done a Christmas Market and a Spring Market which were both very well received by the community.

Some featured vendors include Silverling Beads by Sylvia Thorburn, Knottily Fibrearts, and Prairie Earth Stones & Sheds Jewelry.
