Both suspects of recent thefts in downtown Swift Current have been identified, with one male turning himself into the RCMP.

Swift Current Municipal RCMP requested assistance in identifying two suspects in a pair of identical theft cases. On two successive days, November 11 at 1:10 p.m. and November 12 at 1:40 p.m., two males entered a local business at 1150 Central Avenue North in Swift Current and stole two sets of a Milwaukee 6-piece tool kit. The pair of suspects left the scene both days in a dark grey Ford Focus.

Both individuals were described by police as older Caucasians of average height and weight. One male is balding and was caught on CCTV wearing a grey North Face jacket, and the second donned a beige and black jacket, aviator sunglasses and a hat with ear flaps. It is unspecified which suspect turned himself in.

Currently, the matter is still under investigation.

Swift Current City RCMP extends gratitude for multiple tips regarding the identity of the suspects.
