Swift Current’s very own Pat Friesen has been recognized for her hard work and outstanding commitment to Saskatchewan’s chamber network.

The long-time councillor for the City of Swift Current received the Roger Phillips Chamber Builder Award, a prestigious honour from the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce.

A testament to her years of dedication, this accolade is presented annually to an individual who has consistently demonstrated devotion of their time, intellect, and leadership to strengthen the business community across the province.

"I am just honoured, terribly honoured and thrilled to be able to receive this award,” Friesen said. “It means an awful lot to me that the Swift Current and District Chamber of Commerce sent in the nomination, and of course to be selected as the recipient this year.”

The presentation of the Roger Phillips Chamber Builder Award will take place at the ABEX Awards ceremony in September.
