Swift Current continues to be put into the national spotlight, as we learned today that the City's Fire Department will be featured in the upcoming second season of Discovery's Hellfire Heroes. A film crew will be in the community this month shooting footage for the eight-episode season, which will chronicle the fire department's day-to-day activities, training and protection procedures and emergency situations.

Swift Current Fire Chief Darren McLelland joined Colin on the Magic Morning Show for the big announcement.

The first season of Hellfire Heroes aired earlier this year on Discovery and the second season is expected to premiere sometime in 2019.
