The City of Swift Current is once again being recognized nationally.

This time the 'city where life makes sense', was listed in MoneySense's annual feature of Canada's Best Places to Live, ranking 171st out of 417 communities.

The ranking is a slip from last year's rank of 108th, although MoneySense added over 200 new towns and cities to the list for the 2017 edition.

Health accessibility is Swift Current's top feature ranked at #38th, well inside the top 25 percentile of all cities. The other top ranked features for the city are low unemployment (inside the top 25 percentile of all cities), low taxes (ranked #161st) and low crime (ranked 161st).

Swift Current is sixth among ranked Saskatchewan communities. Weyburn was first in the province and is fifth nationally.
