Photographers from across the globe voted to select the Hot 100 Community Choice Award for Senior Style Guide.

Out of 9,111 images submitted for the contest, two photographs that made the final cut for the Hot 100, were taken by Swift Current photographer and owner of AE Photography, Bobbi-jo Knakoske.

“I was chosen Hot 100 out of photographers across the globe,” she elaborated. “It was other photographers that had chosen me as one of the top 100, so, my peers essentially is what it was that had chosen me for the top 100.”

Senior Style Guide is a leader in the field of supporting and educating photographers that do senior/graduation photography.

Knakoske, who has had her studio for 16 years, said she first fell in love with fashion photography when attending school for photography at NAIT in Edmonton and loves photographing High School Seniors because of the individual style and personality they bring to the shoot.

She now incorporates fashion photography into poses with grads and High School Seniors.

The talented photographer added that it was a surreal experience when the winners were announced on Senior Style Guide’s website and she saw her studio on the list.

“It was my first time entering, so I was not expecting that,” she explained. “It took a minute or two to sink in and then I went off of the website and then I went back again to look and make sure it was my name.”

The issue was released at the end of January and is available for purchase as a digital or printed copy here

“It felt really good, it's an honour, I saw the images and there were so many amazing images, so it felt really good to see I was put amongst all those top photographers,” she concluded.
