The City of Swift Current has installed temporary traffic lights on North Railway Street East where it intersects with the 2nd Avenue Overpass off-ramp.
The city is looking to use the signals to prevent traffic congestion on the overpass, and reduce delays during the intersection construction that is currently taking place at 2nd Ave NE and Chaplin St E.
The purpose of adding the temporary lights is to allow overpass off-ramp traffic to more easily merge with traffic on North Railway Street East during peak periods.
