In the August 13 daily COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority they are reporting a total of 27 new cases.

Of these new cases, 18 are located in the South West, 4 in the South Central, 3 in Saskatoon, and 2 in Regina.

The SHA is reporting that 22 of today's 27 cases are in communal living settings.

The location of one case is pending.

This brings the provincial total number of cases to 1,511. Of those 1,511 cases, 166 are considered active. And 95 of the 166 active cases are in communal living settings.

There are 36 active cases in the South West.

There are 11 more recoveries today, bringing that provincial total to 1,325.

There are 10 people in hospital in the province. Five people are receiving inpatient care-3 in Saskatoon, 1 Regina, and 1 in the North Central Region.

There are currently five people in intensive care-3 in Saskatoon,1 in the North Central Region, and 1 in the South West.

There have been 20 deaths related to COVID-19 reported to date.

To date, 116,804 COVID-19 tests have been performed.

And yesterday 1,800 COVID-19 tests were performed in the province.
