Soccer is a fun and popular sport in Swift Current. A lot of young people take part in soccer every year in the city, and they are invited to learn more about the beautiful game with some players from the university ranks.

The University of Saskatchewan Huskies and Lethbridge Pronghorns will play an exhibition match this afternoon at 5:00pm from the soccer pitch at Riverside Park, and the Pronghorns players and coaches will be hosting a free soccer clinic this morning from 11:00am to 12:30pm, also at Riverside Park.

The soccer match is also free to attend, but those coming out are asked to bring a non-perishable food item as a donation for the Salvation Army Food Bank.
