Here at the Eagle we are super proud of the crew over at our sister station Country Music Radio - CKSW/CJSN as they gear up for another big Radiothon helping out the Dr. Noble Irwin Healthcare Foundation.
Last year the Radiothon raised $144,000 to buy a new CT scanner, which has already played a role in saving lives. Since it was installed in June over 3700 potentially lifesaving scans have been conducted.
This year the money raised will be used to buy equiptment to perform high tech laser surgery. Having these kind of tools in our hospital plays a critical role in recruiting doctors to the area, and it has an obvious upside in patient care and treatment. So dig deep and give. The Radio-thon starts tomorrow and runs through Friday on our sister stations CKSW/CJSN. For the next couple of days, country rocks!!
