In the October 14 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority, there are 25 new cases of the virus reported in the province.

Of those 25 cases, 4 are in the Far North East zone, 5 in the North Central zone, 7 in the North East zone, 4 in the Saskatoon zone, 1 in the Central East zone, 3 in the Regina zone, and 1 in the South East zone.

One of the cases pending location from October 13 has been assigned to Regina and the second location is still pending.

That brings the provincial total number of COVID-19 cases to 2,199, of which 254 are considered active.

There are currently 3 active cases in the South West zone.

There have been 9 more recoveries reported, bringing that provincial total to 1,920.

There are 7 people in hospital. Six of those are receiving inpatient care-4 in the Saskatoon zone, 1 in the North Central zone, and 1 in the Central East zone. One person is in intensive care in Saskatoon.

There have been 25 deaths related to COVID-19 reported.

To date, there has been 220,659 COVID-19 tests done in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday there were 1,700 COVID-19 tests performed.
