In the September 28 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority, they are reporting fourteen new cases of the virus in the province.

Of  those fourteen new cases one is in the Far North zone, three are in the Saskatoon zone, seven are in the Central East zone, and three are in the Regina zone.

One case from September 27 with the location pending has been assigned to the Regina zone.

That brings the provincial number of cases to 1,892, of which 149 are considered active.

There are no active cases in the South West zone.

There have been nine more recoveries, bringing that provincial  total to 1,719.

Eight people are in hospital. All eight are receiving inpatient care-seven in Saskatoon and one in Regina.

There have been 24 deaths related to COVID-19 to date.

Also to date, there have been 188,068 COVID-19 tests performed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday there were 2,236 COVID-19 tests done.
