Congratulations to the Waldeck School Community Council on this weeks eagle applause.

The scc in Waldeck do a fantastic job of putting on events and promoting the school in the community as well as engaging the entire community.  Their pigin' out for the pa system last week attracted a crowd in excess of 300 people and to date has raised over $11,000 for a new pa system for the school.

Rachelle Patzer is the chairperson of the Waldeck SCC and says: "As an scc our goal has always been first and foremost to support our staff. We have incredible staff under the leadership of principal Harv Martinez. The vibe at our school is just fantastic and so as an scc if we can just come along side and support our teachers and staff that's our first goal and secondly this year we decided let's focus on the community, Let's make sure everybody knows how awesome our community really is and let's get people into the school, let's enjoy one another's company, and let's just have a great time."

Great job to the Waldeck School Community Council on all you do connecting the school and community and putting on such fantastic events throughout the year. We hooked them up with a gift card from Schultz's Ranch Country Meats in Morse which Rachelle says they may put towards some burgers for their years end school bbq!!
