As Premier Scott Moe was delivering a tough new host of measures in an attempt to flatten the curve, three other branches of the southwest's leadership team were joining together to deliver a message to Swift Current.

As before, Mayor Denis Perrault took to twitter and youtube to offer an update to the residents of Swift Current on a number of current issues.

With City Hall and the service centre closed to business, Perrault introduced Zoom, a video-conferencing app that will allow face-to-face communication with city staff when required, as well as mentioning the email address where residents can reach out to him directly at askthemayor@swiftcurrent.ca

Finally, to address questions about funding, and to answer some concerns about what would take place in the event of a shutdown of non-essential business, Perrault was joined by both Jeremy Patzer, the federal MP for Cypress Hills-Grasslands, and by Everett Hindley, provincial MLA for Swift Current.

The key message that all three leaders wanted to convey is that they keep in regular contact and, despite representing different levels of government, they are working together to ensure that the southwest is prepared for the COVID-19 crisis.
