Travellers heading down the Trans-Canada Highway to Gull Lake will want to keep an eye out as they approach the town.

A semi-truck and trailer have become lodged in the centre meridian of Highway One, just before reaching the west end of the 80-kilometre-per-hour section.

Travellers are asked to be cognizant of any recovery work by first responders when passing through the area.

The snowy conditions that have deteriorated road traction are set to continue today, with roads expected to remain adversely affected.

Anyone heading out today on the highway would be wise to check the Highway Hotline to see road conditions beforehand, as well as to make note of any major incidents or road closures.
