The Source for Sports U18 AA Broncos fell 4-3 in overtime to the Estevan Bruins in game four of their best-of-five south semi-final series on Monday night at S3 Arenas. 

Sam Kirwan, Kai Packet and Brett Stusrud scored for the Broncos, and Spencer Copeland scored the winning goal for the Bruins 1:50 into the extra frame to force a fifth and deciding game of the series, which happens Wednesday night in Estevan. 

Meanwhile, the season came to an end for the SWT U13 Broncos, who were blanked 2-0 by the Prairie Storm in the third game of their best-of-three series on Monday night in Balgonie. The Prairie Storm will face Weyburn in the south final.

Dejong commits to Olds College

Caybri Dejong is the latest member of the Innovation Credit Union Wildcats to commit to post-secondary hockey. The grade 12 player from Lashburn will attend school at Olds College in the fall. Nine players on the Wildcats roster have now made post-secondary commitments for next season.

The Wildcats will start their league semi-final series against the Saskatoon Stars on Saturday in the Bridge City. Game two of the best-of-three series will be on Sunday in Swift Current with game three, if needed, in Saskatoon next Tuesday.

Tuch scores twice as Sabres rally to beat Leafs

Alex Tuch scored twice as the Buffalo Sabres rallied from down 2-0 to beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 in NHL action on Monday night. Auston Matthews had a goal and two assists for the Leafs in a losing cause. 

Meanwhile, Arturri Lehkonen scored twice as Colorado jumped out to a 4-0 first period lead en route to an 8-4 win over the Montreal Canadiens. Josh Anderson and Nick Suzuki had two points each for the Habs, who visit Pittsburgh tonight as part of a 12-game schedule. Other action has Winnipeg visiting Carolina, Edmonton hosting Ottawa, Calgary travelling to Arizona and the Canucks hosting the Stars in Vancouver.

Canada routed by USA at WBC, but still have a shot at quarter-finals

Team USA exploded for nine runs in the very first inning in a 12-1 mercy rule win over Team Canada at the World Baseball Classic in Phoenix. 

Canada faces Colombia this afternoon needing a win to stay in contention for the quarter-final round. They'll wrap up round-robin play against Mexico on Wednesday. 

Meanwhile, the Blue Jays hammered the Red Sox 16-3 for their fifth Spring Training win in a row, and they'll take on the Yankees this afternoon.
