The Full Line Ag U18 AA Wildcats won both their home games on the weekend, beating the Notre Dame Hounds 2-1 on Saturday and the North East Aces 2-1 on Sunday. Vegas Appel and Chloe Wills had the Wildcats' goals against the Hounds while Brooklyn Siemens and Jordyn Cooper scored on Sunday.

The Source for Sports U18 AA Broncos only managed two of a possible six points on a three-game road swing, losing 4-1 to the Regina Rangers on Friday, winning 6-2 in Melville on Saturday, and then falling 7-4 to the Lumsden/Bethune Lions on Sunday. Mason Osinski had a hat trick for the Broncos in the win over the Millionaires.

The Pure Chem U15 Broncos blanked Melville 5-0 on Saturday and beat the Regina Pat Blues 3-1 on Sunday, the SWT U13 Broncos beat Estevan 4-2 and Lumsden 13-0, and the WW Smith U13 Wildcats beat Weyburn 4-1 and 6-2 on the weekend.

Bedard gets hat trick but Tigers rally for win over Pats

Connor Bedard scored three goals as the Regina Pats took a 4-1 second period lead over Medicine Hat, but the Tigers rallied with five unanswered goals, including two from Bogdans Hodass, to take a 6-4 win in front of a sold-out crowd at the Brandt Centre.

In other WHL action on Sunday, Owen Pederson had the overtime winner as Winnipeg beat Calgary 5-4, and Hayden Smith had a hat trick en route to a 10-2 win for Lethbridge over Edmonton.

In the NHL, John Tavares had two assists in his 1000th career NHL game as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat Washington 5-1 on Sunday. The Winnipeg Jets host St. Louis in the only game on the schedule tonight as preparations continue for this weekend's All-Star Game in Florida.

Chiefs and Eagles set for Super Bowl

Harrison Butker nailed a 45-yard field goal with three seconds left to give the Kansas City Chiefs a 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals to win the AFC Championship for the third time in four seasons and advance to the Super Bowl for the fourth time. 

In the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles hammered the San Francisco 49ers 31-7 to advance to their fourth Super Bowl and first since Super Bowl LII, where they surprised Tom Brady and the New England Patriots with a 41-33 win.

Super Bowl LVII will be in Glendale, Arizona, on February 12.

Djokovic captures 10th Aussie Open title and 22nd grand slam

Novak Djokovic defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece in straight sets to claim the Australian Open men's championship for a record 10th time, and now has 22 all-time grand slam titles, a record he now shares with Rafael Nadal.

In the women's final, Aryna Sabalenka came back from a set down to beat Elena Rybakina for her first grand slam title in her first major final.

Rush beat Desert Dogs on home turf

Mark Matthews had four goals and 12 points and Robert Church added five goals and eight points as the Saskatchewan Rush beat the expansion Las Vegas Desert Dogs 15-10 at SaskTel Centre on Saturday night.

The 3-2 Rush sit second in the NLL's Western Conference behind the 5-1 San Diego Seals as they get set to visit the Vancouver Warriors on Saturday.
