The Full Line Ag U18 AA Wildcats play their first playoff game tonight as they host the Parkland Fire for game one of a best-of-three second-round playoff series at 7:15 p.m. from S3 Arenas. Game two is in Melville on Friday and game three, if needed, is in Swift Current on Saturday.

The Graphic Edge U15 Wildcats are also on the ice tonight in Melville to open their second-round series against the Parkland Fire. Game two is on Friday at S3 Arenas with game three, if necessary, back in Melville on Sunday.

The Southwest Sports Excellence U18 AA Broncos dropped a 3-2 decision to the Regina Capitals in regular season action on the road on Monday. The Pure Chem U15 Broncos travel to Moose Jaw tonight in their second-last game of the regular season, while the SWT U13 Broncos host the Regina Blues at 5:15 p.m. from S3 Arenas.

In senior hockey, the Dinsmore Dynamos picked up a 6-2 road win over the Kyle Elks on Monday to force a fifth and deciding game of the league semi-final Wednesday night in Dinsmore.

McEwen suffers first loss at Brier

Mike McEwen and Team Saskatchewan dropped their first game of the Montana's Brier in Regina, falling 7-4 to Matthew Manuel and Nova Scotia on Monday night. Saskatchewan sits second in Pool B behind Jamie Koe and the Northwest Territories with the top three teams in each pool advancing to the playoffs. McEwen will face Alberta's Aaron Sluchinski this afternoon.

Bruins beat Leafs in potential playoff preview

Pavel Zacha scored twice as the Boston Bruins beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-1 at Scotiabank Arena on Monday. Former Bronco Jake DeBrusk had a goal and an assist for the Bruins, who snapped the Leafs' modest two-game win streak. Boston sits eight points ahead of the Leafs for second in the Atlantic, and the teams could face each other in the first round of the playoffs if the season ended today.

Elsewhere, Jared McCann had a goal and an assist to lift the Seattle Kraken past the Calgary Flames 4-2 at the Saddledome. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Flames, who are seven points back of Nashville for the last wild card spot in the Western Conference.

There are nine games in the NHL tonight with Boston hosting Edmonton, Winnipeg welcoming Seattle, Nashville hosting Montreal and Vancouver heading to Los Angeles.
