William Karlsson scored twice and Adin Hill made 23 saves for the shutout as the Vegas Golden Knights punched their ticket to the Stanley Cup Final with a 6-0 win over the Dallas Stars in game six of the NHL's Western Conference Final on Monday night.

Vegas will play for the Stanley Cup for the second time in its short six-year history and for the first time since their inaugural season in 2017-18 when they face the Florida Panthers starting on Saturday.

Remparts edge T-Birds to earn bye to Memorial Cup final

The Quebec Remparts punched their ticket to the Memorial Cup final after hanging on for a 3-1 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds. Theo Rochette scored twice for the Remparts, who take on Peterborough tonight in their last round-robin game. The host Kamloops Blazers will face the Thunderbirds in an all-WHL matchup to wrap up round robin on Wednesday.

Quiet Monday in WCBL sees Giants rout Bombers

The lone game in the WCBL on Monday night had the Fort McMurray Giants routing the Brooks Bombers 20-12 on the road. Jordan Bach, Kaleb Lemos and Max Stagg hit home runs for the Giants, who face the Bombers again tonight in Brooks.

Other action around the league tonight has Moose Jaw hosting Regina, Weyburn welcoming Medicine Hat and Sylvan Lake hosting Okotoks. The Swift Current 57's return to action on Wednesday when they host the Red Sox.

In senior ball, the Maple Creek Mohawks head to Hazlet to take on the Elks in Sask-Alta league action tonight, and in the Majors, the Toronto Blue Jays start a three-game homestand against the Milwaukee Bucks tonight with Yusei Kikuchi on the mound.

Miami denies Celtics' historic comeback to advance to NBA Final

Jimmy Butler scored 28 points as the Miami Heat beat the Boston Celtics 103-84 to take game seven and move on to the NBA Finals. Boston was looking to be the first NBA team in 150 times of asking to come all the way back from a 3-0 deficit to win a series. 

The Heat will face the Denver Nuggets in the finals starting on Thursday.
