The first big event of 2016 to roll into Swift Current is less than two weeks away. The Rogers Hometown Tour hockey weekend will take over the downtown January 9 & 10 and will feature Ron Maclean, Wendel Clark, Tiger Williams, and more. There will be a ton of interactive games and displays for all to enjoy.
The city is looking for volunteers to help out in a number of different areas. If you are interested in helping out call the city's community services division at 306-778-2787 or go to www.swiftcurrent.ca.
There are a variety of opportunities for volunteering and no matter how much time you can donate, it will be much appreciated.
