Waiting Lists for Surgeries Has Gone Down in Saskatchewan

The latest Surgical Care Network Data shows that waiting lists have dropped by nearly 1600 patients over the past year.

Saskatchewan Surgical Care Network Co-Chair, Dr. Rob Weiler, believes this news is an encouraging sign.

The government plans to invest another $8.9 million this year to help reduce wait time.

Saskatoon and Regina Health Regions did about 2000 more surgeries last year to help reduce the waiting lists.
